We live in an urban forest ecosystem where urban trees are more than just green infrastructure. Urban trees in Gulfport and across Pinellas County enhance resilience, improve health and well-being, and strengthen community bonds. Join Carolyn in a talk about how Pinellas County manages and maintains trees, new information on tree canopy numbers in Gulfport and statewide from the Florida Forest Service, and updates from the Florida UrbanForestry Council. Trivia is played with a prepared list of fun questions. Alex (a Gulfport Librarian) will play the role of host. The Host will choose and share the questions with the players. The players will compete on who can answer the most questions correctly. Team play is an option if enough players attend.
